During the 2nd week of caad, there wasn't much progress being made.
Every Monday we use the caad to develop skills, using illustrator so we can use the program in our design development.
This week we focused on using the pen tool in illustrator and creating shapes, it sounded easy but it wasn't.
It seemed like a dull task so why not have a little fun with it, experiment with colour, shapes and sizes.
I was able to make a shape look transparent within it, inputting a shape and making it invisible.
This could demonstrate and highlight certain areas that I may want to be more visible of a design or even bring out a pattern within the garment.
Also The difference between illustrator and photoshop is the pixels, when you zoom in on illustrator the pixels don't change and the image is still as crisp as it was at full scale.
